The goals of the Adult Education committee are to:
(1) provide studies on diverse topics
(2) provide studies related to basic
theological beliefs
(3) develop leadership in adult studies
The adult Sunday school sessions are held weekly (except for summer) after the Sunday morning worship services. Nursery is available on Sunday mornings. Adult Forum: The studies and format of the group vary according to the topics covered.

Adult Forum is continuing with a set of lectures by Bart Erhman, "From Jesus to Constantine: A History of Early Christianity." Dr. Erhman is a popular lecturer and sought after speaker on the New Testament and history of the first century. Church members are taking turns leading the discussions that follow these thought-provoking videos.
If you've wondered about how people understood the Christian message as the church was just beginning, these lectures will help you understand how our faith began and what caused it to grow

This is the first of three films to get us ready for exciting discussions with Adele Reinhartz who will be with us on September 27 & 28 as the Scholar in Residence. One of her scholarly interests is how Jesus is portrayed in film - and how we think of Jesus because of these films. Her book, Jesus of Hollywood, will be available to purchase next week.
