Pastor Trey's Bible Study gets together every Wednesday at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Each session covers a lesson and discussion that typically go along with the sermon series. All are welcome to attend.
All God's CreaturesIn 2019, the church began the All God’s Creatures (AGC) program with the mission to provide an animal shelter in collaboration with the Mount Pleasant Correctional (MPC) facility with the dual purpose of rehabilitating the animals for future adoption with the involvement of inmates, giving them the opportunity to learn skills that would benefit them upon release. Due to the pandemic, the program with MPC has been put on indefinite pause; however AGC continues to move forward with a Trap, Neuter, Release program and is searching for shelter options. You can click here to learn more and get involved with All God's Creatures.
Presbyterian WomenPresbyterian Women (PW) offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in the midst of a caring community of women. Our PW group typically meets once a month on the first Thursday of the month (unless stated otherwise); meetings tend to consist of devotions, a lesson with discussion, fellowship, and PW business. PW is also in charge of the Annual Rummage & Bake sale that occurs twice a year. For more information about PW or to join, please contact the church office. All women are welcome.

IowaWINs is a community commission of the First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. The commission is open to everyone in the community. The commission was formed in the fall of 2015 as a response to the Syrian Refugee Crisis. Since its formation, the commission expanded its Vision and Mission to include immigrants living in the community. On May 9, 2018, IowaWINs became the epicenter of the response to the ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raid in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa where 32 men were taken from their workplace and detained. This action left their families without their primary breadwinners and caused tremendous fear throughout the immigrant community in Mt. Pleasant. IowaWINs continues to provide the families with legal, emotional, spiritual, and financial support through connections with many other organizations in Iowa and many generous donors throughout Iowa and the United States.
Meals by NutrimosMeals by Nutrimos is a meal ministry under the church and IowaWINS. The ministry provides nutritious, delicious, sizeable entrees to the public for purchase. The proceeds sustain the Iowa Welcomes Immigrant Neighbors (Iowa WINS) Food Pantry and contribute a 10% tithe to the ministries of the First Presbyterian Church Mt. Pleasant.
